MEET OUR NEWEST ADDITION TO THE FAMILY

Every film has a moment when it stops being an idea and begins to feel real.

For Precious|Choices, that moment has arrived.

What began more than two years ago as a simple question about grief and moral responsibility gradually evolved into one of the most ambitious projects we've undertaken at SEE Motion Pictures. The screenplay has gone through countless drafts, each one pushing deeper into the emotional complexity of its characters and the difficult questions at the heart of the story.

Precious|Choices is a contained psychological thriller exploring grief, identity, betrayal and redemption. More than anything, it asks what happens when profound loss begins to erode a person's moral compass.

In May this year, we introduced the project to one of Australia's leading film distributors. The response provided an important vote of confidence and has helped move the project into a new phase of development. Since then, discussions surrounding domestic distribution have begun, experienced industry professionals have started contributing to the project, and the foundations for financing and packaging have continued to strengthen.

While there is still considerable work ahead, Precious|Choices has now officially entered packaging.

Over the coming months our focus will be on bringing together the remaining creative, financial and production partnerships required to move the project toward principal photography.

One principle has guided every decision we've made throughout development: build carefully, build honestly, and build the strongest film possible.

We'll share the milestones, the challenges, the lessons and, occasionally, a glimpse behind the curtain as Precious|Choices continues its path from screenplay to screen.
